In a thrilling match, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) emerged victorious against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in the 27th match of the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL). The match was held at Mohali on April 13, 2024.
RR won the toss and elected to field first. PBKS openers Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan provided a solid start, but the middle order failed to capitalize, and the team was restricted to a total of 165 runs.
In response, RR got off to a flying start thanks to a quickfire half-century from Jos Buttler. Sanju Samson and Devdutt Padikkal also contributed valuable runs, and RR reached the target with ease in the 19th over.
Buttler was named Player of the Match for his outstanding batting performance.
